Manions' Coaches

Manions’ Coaches has been operating in the West Tamar and Tasmanian community since 1960. They provide General Access and School Bus services, charter options for school excursions and private charter, and hire and drive options.

With 45 full time, part time and casual staff, there’s always a lot happening!

JKB has worked with Manions’ Coaches for many years, so when the time came to overhaul the old website, we were delighted to be involved.

what was required

The previous site built by JKB had been very effective and served its purpose for many years, however after a refresh of the Manions’ Coaches branding, it became clear that the website needed an overhaul as well.

One of the key goals of the website was to provide timetable information for General Access and School Bus services in a clearer, more accessible way.

Staff had been managing significant phone call volume regarding the timetables, so improving the visibility of current, accurate information has allowed customers to ‘self-service’ much more effectively. This not only improves customer satisfaction, whilst allowing staff to focus on other important tasks.

We have completely rebuilt the website using WordPress (a Content Management System), focussing on functionality where staff can easily access and maintain information for each of the services and routes that they offer.

There’s a complex set of information required for each route, so it was important that everything be easy and logical to update.

We’ve made the website much brighter, roomier and friendlier to use for the large numbers of customers using it on a regular basis.

As always, we’ve ensured that the site works well across all the different types of devices people use.
